simple Smile go to your privacy settings and go to those profile pictures settings. you'll see those choices for who you want to see them. the choices are. : only me, specific friends, all friends, public. you click which ever you want, in your case only me.

Upload the photo delete from timeline and open the image click option and select make profile pic and delete it from timeline
