Would you add a relative whom you've never met in your Facebook?

I have a large extended family on both sides of my parents. But my dad's side has a lot more who are on Facebook. A lot of them I have not met in person. Most of them are in their 30s or 40s (majority females like me) which is close to my age. They are cousins, aunts, uncles or a couple grandparents. I have not met a lot of them in person but we all carry the same last name. Would you add them to your list without ever meeting them in person?
