How to re-gain control of my facebook page?

I need to shut down my facebook account and create a new one. But I have a page that I am the creator and admin for. How can I become the admin to that page again without losing control of it? My roommate is an admin as well but only as "manager," he cannot add or remove admins. And facebook won't let me change his title or remove him and re-add him as an admin. I tried to create a temporary account so I can add that account as a friend and add as admin for an intermediate from my old account to my new one. But that didn't work. Please help.

i doubt there is a way to do this, because it's actually against the rules to delete your profile and create a new one
