What's so great about Justin Bieber?

I'm not asking in a mean way, i just want to understand why his name is always trending on twitter.
Also please give me more of an answer than "Cuz he's cute" or "Cuz he's awesome".
I want an actual reason, not just the fans squealing and moaning. I get that you like/dislike him, i just want to know why.
Here's the thing, i don't want to hate on him cuz i don't really know anything about him. And yes, thanks to his fans i do tend to get annoyed when i hear his name or his music. Also i feel that the radio and tv stations are over doing it. So for the moment i dislike him because of his fans, but i'm willing to be open minded because he's just a kid with a bunch of psychos ruining his cred...

I don't think it's so much that I don't like him.. I don't like his music but I wont talk trash on him..
honestly the thing I think that most people are annoyed with is his fans.. they are out of control beating each other when he cancels a show and threatening a girl he took a picture with saying they want to kill her..

Hes new, young, and attractive. He also put himself out there on youtube and myspace and now twitter. he writes music about falling in love and being in love. the music industry is always looking for the next big thing, and they like to start with the younger the perfomers ( so they are around longer) its all about publicity

He's not a bad singer, but most definitely without talent. I don't hate him, I just enjoy hating on him because I hear about him 24 f-ing 7.
To put it simply, he's new, he's appealing to the tween crowd, his voice fits today's unfortunate musical standards. Sadly, he's all over the media and radio stations, which is why we hear about him so much. Mostly, it's because he's new and he appeals to the tween crowd. That is all that's great about him. He won't be popular anymore when he hits puberty, by then he'll be over-done and no longer appealing to the tweens.

I also would like to know whats so great about him. I really don't like his music at all but I guess it's just a matter of opinion....I guess that's whats so great about him to some people and so terrible about him to other, you either like him or you don't.

Ok, Im a fan, but im not just going to be COMPLETELY praising him. There's also some things I dont like about him.
1. hes talented.
2. he cares about his fans, this morning on the today show he told us he loves us!
3. he's still the same person he was before he was famous.
4. he really cares about all people, not just fans. A fan (and friend) passed out after a car accident and he gave her mouth to mouth to try and revive her.
things i dont like about him:
1. how he doesn't like to discuss his tattoo.
2. how cocky he is at times.
3. how he over uses the word 'like' (idk y, this has just always made me mad!).
