How do I turn my online status off on facebook?
I am always shown online even when my chat is turned off. What do I do so that none of my friends see me online?

There should be like a button u can press where it shows everyone online & u can make it so it shows ur offline

At the lower right corner of the facebook chatbox is a gear shaped button, click that and select "turn off chat"

Select "turn off chat" at the lower right hand corner of the chat box, there is a gear shaped button, click that and turn off.
