when I change my profile picture on Facebook it doesn't show up on my Timeline or homepage?
you know how when people change their profile picture it says "___ updated her profile picture" along with the picture on their timeline and on my homepage, it doesn't do that when I change mine, how come?

Facebook developers keep on updating facebook every now and then. Now you won't be able to see it on your time line but your friends will be able to see on their time lines.

I think you have to close out of facebook first, then relog in or something and then it will be shown. before that, it wont.
