How long do I have to wait after submitting a Facebook ID?

It has been four days since Facebook suspended me for "sending too many friend requests" (it was 150...?). Either way, they asked me for an ID. I sent them my passport with everything blocked out except for my name, photo, and birthday. THey said that they would reply shortly, but it has been four days now. Also, when I try to log in, it sends me to a page that says my account has been temporarily locked and asks me to verify it, but I can never access the Security Check. I click "verify" at the bottom of the page, but it just sends me to another page asking me for my ID. I have done some research about this and everyone has told me to complete the Security Check. Does anyone know how I can access the Security Check? Also, how long will I have to wait before Facebook emails me back?
