What did I do to deserve this message on facebook?

Earlier on I put a status on facebook. It was not to be abusive I was just making a comment on what someone said. However, some silly woman that is no longer on my friends list said I came across as a nasty person and I should stop being so angry with the world. The comment wasn't made through anger but I was just expressing my opinion. so why does someone think it is appropriate to send me a horror message like that.
