how to get people to follow you on twitter if none of your friends use it?
most of my friends don't use twitter(they come from rich families and are busy all the time so they didn't even bother to create one twitter account)so i would like to know ways in which i can get people to follow me on twitter cause right no i have 0 followers.i wish my friends could have time for it.
i know its a waste but it still seems fun(you can always use it in a productive way).i don't need friends i just like to chat with random strangers(it's a thing). Ads |

You can attract attention to your tweets through the use of hashtags. Just don't overdo it.

Why would you want total strangers to follow you? Sounds to me like you need to make some new friends. People who are too busy for you aren't friends, and they're not worth your efforts. Find some people with whom you can ENJOY spending time, and forget about your current "friends," 'cause they don't qualify.

I would favorite A WHOLE bunch of people's stuff, based off of what you search in the "discovery" tab. That's if you only want your followers to look higher than who you are following. A lot of people will just do a F4F, which is Follow 4 Follow. But if you do too much then twitter thinks you are a robot and they will deactivate your account, and you have to reactivate it and twitter will tell you why they did do it, and if you ended up doing it again they would completely suspend it and you would have to create a new account. It isn't easy gaining followers. And you won't gain them fast. But the best way to maintain them and keep them interested is to have a "theme" on your twitter. I have 726 followers and I'm only following 287. I worked probably for days to get that high. So basically, you have to have alot of time on your hands and must have patience.
