Question regarding messaging a girl? 10 POINTS!!!?

Judt curious...I like a girl, but I am not sure if she likes me back. After so much time, I have finally found a topic to talk to her about (on Facebook, since it is the closest I will ever get to talking to her alone). But if I message her, I am afraid it will end with her just saying something like "yeah" or "okay", and that will be the end of it...will that not happen if she likes me? Will things play themselves out? What should I do in this situation?

Same thing except on twitter for me. I waited and waited and waited. Not the most attractive guy either. On valentines Day I finally tried. Talked for a little bit but not much. I didn't get the message and kept trying to talk later on but got shot down. Go for it, but if she doesn't seem interested just keep the space between you two for a while. Don't make the same mistake I did though.

Talk to her and drop subtle hints for about a month then just casually say how you feel in a sentence then change the subject if she replies and notices positively go for it don't wait for her as if she likes you she probs wants you to make the first move
