How to Get Bigger on Youtube?
I have been on youtube for almost a year (364 days!) and I only have 189 subscribers. I have HD videos, quality sound (I use a Blue Snowball Microphone) and 112 videos. I play many games and upload daily (well, not for about 2 weeks because of wi-fi issues but it was just fixed so I'm going to be uploading regularly.
Anyways, so far I normally play:
-Minecraft
-Pokemon Leaf Green
-(starting up) Sims 3

I also do tutorials for software stuff. The thing is, over half my subs are from my tutorial videos and don't look at the majority of my videos, the gaming stuff. So I'm wondering how do I get more out there? I've already shared my videos on social media sites, but what else? I'm seeing people with less videos, less time on Youtube and more subscribers and views! Thanks for your help! Smile

Give them a unique way on how to
suprise , laugh , amaze , etc. them.
But be active on your video making

Hey there. I have been on youtube for over 4 years and I make a good amount of money off of youtube. Here are some tips to getting started and growing your channel. Here are some tips.
1. Fame won't come instantly, you have to wait.
2. Send personal messages to people with a link to one of your videos.
3. Do a video about a trending storie or topic.
4. Don't be rude on youtube or use any words that may be offensive to some people.
5. Don't give up no matter how bad you want to.
Hope this helps. Here is a link to my channel if you want to see some more strategies: http://adf.ly/C7ma9

Minecraft is HUGE on YouTube. As in, half the people on YouTube who upload Minecraft videos have +10,000 subscribers.

With Minecraft, you should try uploading videos of you and your friends building on one world. Include a cool, CONSISTENT, thumbnail for each video so people know it's a series. Also, build Redstone creations! There are many more things you can make that people haven't. Think about it, people have made an interactable piano, hidden piston doors, etc..

Oh, and be creative! Big Grin

Edit: I should mention that Pokemon Leaf Green won't bring in as much views as one can expect during this year. With Pokemon Black and White 2 being released recently in Japan, walkthroughs, etc. have been booming with views. You should buy the game when it comes out, and just make a walkthrough (Or even a playthrough!). I used to have a YouTube with 800+ subscribers, but I got rid of it. That reminds me. Get involved with the community! Usually, people will subscribe to you if you make your channel open to others. Who knows, maybe someone will subscribe to you because your channel looks awesome! Big Grin
