Why when I change my fb dp, it makes a duplicate with no likes and comments?
is there a way that i can change my fb dp without making a duplicate OR losing likes and comments?
cuz when i change it and delete the copy, my dp is erased and gone...

No there is no such way. When you use any existing picture as Facebook dp, then Facebook creates a copy of that picture, not use the same picture.
