Privacy settings on facebook help?

i was wondering if it was possible to completely remove years of posts from my facebook? or possibly just stop people being able to see the posts? i was looking to delete from 2009-2012, simply because i was much younger, and well, my spelling wasn't great haha. so yeah, if you could tell me how to change this with settings etc that would be great! also if possible, could you state a step by step guide on how to do it just to make sure i'm doing it right?

You can go on there and click limit old posts and it should make it to where people won't be able to see it. But it'll still be there.
