How do you make a facebook page for a business with friend requests instead of likes?

I'm looking at Facebook and I see a lot of businesses can add friends instead of having it set up for likes or a fan page. I have tried and can not figure it out - every time I put the business's name in it says this is not a proper name only real names will be accepted. I know there is a way around it because other people are doing it. Could someone please explain how. Thank you.
I'm not wanting an account to where my personal account is attached I want an account to where it's just the business.

your page should take security and you will share you Facebook page URL between you facebook friends
