how does people hack our accounts?

I have never been hacked, thank god.
But how do they hack facebook/gmail/yahoo etc?
i mean which source they use, i am expecting answers from a well known computer expert

I was hacked the other day. I was at Starbucks downloading a program, and some moron got in to my email and sent out all these perverted emails to my friends..haha. I fixed it by changing every password I had. simple.
My brother does computer programming and security for a living and he tells me all kinds of stories of the new ways hackers get into yoru systems, how creative they are.
The newest one is called the "drive by".
You open yoru browser then open yoru search page, say it Bing or Google.
You search for, lets say, "yogurt"!
That brings up may sites that have Yogurt key words on them for you to choose from, as you are scrolling up and down the pages, you have NO clue you are being hacked right then and there.
that is why its a "drive by hacking" they nab you with out you even visiting the site.
I asked how do I stop this, he said get up to date Malware and Spyware. keep them up to date and just be very careful to NOT chase websites while browsing.

The vast majority is through disguised emails. For example, say you get notified by email when someone posts to your wall or sends you a message on Facebook. The "hacker" will send one of these notifications to your email and it will look exactly like the Facebook notification. You click on the link in the email to be taken to Facebook to view the message, before you get there though you first go to a "blank white page" that runs a script to steal your authentication for the Facebook account and sends it to the "hacker."

Another variant will take you to "Facebook" but instead of automatically signing you in from clicking the email it takes you to the Facebook sign-in page, but maybe the address bar at the top says wwwf.acebook.com but because you are on your lunch break and want to quickly read the message that HotGirl1964 sent you don't notice the fake page and willingly send your password to the "hacker" by typing your credentials into their website.

There are of course other methods but this is by far the most widely used method of "hacking" facebook/gmail/twitter/yahoo etc.

I personally don't consider this hacking. It's more a Social Engineering tactic called Phishing.

Mainly the hackers are using "phishing" method.
Method: Hackers will create the page simliar to sign in pages of Facebook, GMail, Yahoo, etc. using PHP or ASP. The PHP/ASP application will save the username & password while the user tries to sign in.

The hacker will aquire the values of cookies and using Cookie Manager they will edit/create cookies using the values of hacked cookies.

Hope you understand how hackers hacking clients. This is only some basic ways. There are many other ways like sniffing, etc.
