why does this happen?
when I first started Facebook I hardly got likes then I started getting 1 or 2 likes on my status up dates then it went to 4 then 6 then 8 then 10 why does this happen over time

You might have more friends, it depends who's online at the time if there are more people then its more likely for them to like your status
