What is a social/ethical issue of the impact of media on public opinion? ?

I have to write about the effect of technology on politics, so I want to write about how the media affects public opinon on politics. I'm not sure what the issue would be. Then I need to find a solution to the problem.

You should write about the left wing media bias of the news and entertainment media. Hollywood and most of the tv news networks are clearly biased in favor of liberal politicians and liberal views. This election clearly showed the bias, as McCain and Palin were vilified, while Obama and Biden were praised. The NY Times does not even bother trying to hide their liberal bias.
