Is it worth doing a Social Work masters?
Im wondering whether in today's market, where I know for sure Social Worker sarary has lowered and jobs are harder to come across, is it still worth doing a masters in Social Work and becomming a social worker?
Im looking into whether I could work in project worker jobs instead and work my way up but I dont know if this will be beneficial or not? Please help : Ads |

I have just completed my Masters of Social Work (MSW) a few months ago. It is worth it. If you want to become a Social Worker you need to have a MSW degree in order to find a decent job that will pay you a decent wage.
If you want to get rich then Social Work is probably not the field you should be looking into. You will get paid a decent wage where you can live comfortably. The field of social work has alot of opportunities for growth as far as professional development goes. And besides it is very rewarding, Ads |

It is always worth getting further qualifications.
But are you chasing the right job? Social work is not well paid in any country. |
