Will the advertising on Facebook lead to its downfall?
I am getting tired of get notices that ask me to join some game or that one of my friends has promoted something in their status. I believe that if Facebook becomes to business orientated then a new social media site that isn't as whole industry in itself will take over

No because ads on facebook have been there a long time. Also, YouTube has ads and it is fine.

yes I agree with you entirely, the advertisements and games are a pain.
I block all games and hover the "x" at the advertisements as I don't like and are no interest to me.
