How can I make my tumblr more known or just really popular?

I really want to share my love of anime with others and honestly I really want the attention. Here's my tumblr: soul-resonates.tumblr.com

Couple of tips.

1. Make original posts and tag them. When people search through the tags only original post show up. That's how a lot of people find blogs. (But if it's artwork that's not yours don't forget to source!!)

2. Make friends with other bloggers. It's easier than it seems, you really just have to start messaging, as long as they're not someone who gets 100+ message a day it's a good bet that they will have a conversation with you and possibly talk/post stuff on their blog with/about you. (But don't do it just for the follower count! You can make some really great friends!)

3. Other social media. This is easier if you make original content. But simply just remember to put links to your tumblr on any other websites you're on. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, ect.


Most of the "tumblr famous" really just got luck with a post or two. But you'd be surprised what happens if you just try to make friends and have a great online community.
