Are you notified when a friend deletes their facebook?
I'm thinking of deleting my facebook for personal reasons. I have very few friends, and would like to go quietly. If I got rid of my Facebook, would they be notified?

No. You can deactivate your page and no one will be notified. The only way they will know is if they look, you will no longer be on their friend list and you won't show up in a search.

No they just won't be able to find you. They might see your messages but they cannot access your profile

No, there is no notification when someone deletes their account. Your friends would notice you missing from their list of friends or if they were looking you up they will not find you.
