Facebook chat on Windows Phone?

I'm just after buying the Nokia Lumia 520 and u downloaded Facebook from the windows store, but u can't seem to find chat on it or see if someone is online... I know thus might me a stupid question but help would be appreciated haha!

You don't need the Facebook app. Go into settings and add a Facebook account. if you do this right then it will automatically sync Facebook chat with your messaging app.

Congratulations on the purchase of your Nokia Lumia 520.

Facebook is built into your phone. Go to Settings > email + accounts > add an account > Facebook, if you haven't already.

Once you have added Facebook to your Nokia Lumia, use the built in 'Messaging' app which combines Facebook Chat and text messages to see who's online and begin chatting.

I'd also recommend downloading the Facebook Beta app from Windows Phone Store. http://www.windowsphone.com/en-gb/store/...7b33247ec6

Look and See if Chat is Included Go to the Home Page and See if you Find Chat on the App If you Dont than it Mite Not Be included in the Facebook App For your Mobile Device But There is a Messenging App Use that if you have it If Not Search For it In the App Store

Hey Karen,
I too recently bought Lumia 520. Turns out, it doesn't actually require specific Facebook apps cause it is an in built feature. Just go to settings -> email+account -> and add a new account (you can also add Twitter, LinkedIn, Yahoo, Google....etc.)
To view your Facebook wall, go to People -> what's New
For chatting, simply use the Messaging app.
