For people who don't live in Africa?
There was something trending about Africa on twitter & I was shocked to find that people think that in Africa:
* we hunt wild animals
* we have lions as pets
* we eat lion, zebra & other animals
* we live in mud huts
* we ride elephants to school

Then I asked one of them, where do they get & they said The Animal Channel shows it like that.
So is it true, does the Animal Channel really show Africans living with wild animals?

Actually yes it does. It shows farming areas that border national parks and how the people come in contact with the animals for better or worse. TV in general tends to show the worst side of Africa and does not show all the developed countries with brick buildings. It's a huge stereotype they put out there in the media. It's really sick actually. Ignorant as well.
