Should I do the Social Work masters?

Im wondering whether in today's market, where I know for sure Social Worker sarary has lowered and jobs are harder to come across, is it still worth doing a masters in Social Work and becomming a social worker?
Im looking into whether I could work in project worker jobs instead and work my way up but I dont know if this will be beneficial or not? Please help

Yes, especially if you're interested in management/supervisory/administrative or policymaking. Or if you have the financial means to go on for your Doctorate's Degree.
