I want to add her but she might think that's weird. And she might ask me why I added her so.

Why would she think its weird? Do you find yourself attracted to her or is she attracted to you? Its not weird unless either one of these are the case.

If you don't mind her seeing anything personal, then it's not weird. It's normal to add family members on Facebook.
