Do you have any tips for someone to get more followers on Twitter?

I tweet about:
*Current events in my daily life
*Tweet to people
*Talk about cool things happening online
*Tweet celebrities

I only have 25 followers( I follow 100) and I keep losing more followers.
What should I do to gain followers and for the followers to actually become interested in my tweets?

Also, what are some tips on making friends on Twitter, it seems weird tweeting a random person.

Get a Youtube Channel and make good videos.

Pick one main topic that you enjoy the most. People dont want to follow someone who is all over the place with their tweets.
