Facebook people you may know list?

I noticed that my gf's sister shows up at the top of my "people you may know" list even though we have 1 mutual friend but her brother isnt on the list at all even though we have like 15 mutual friends. Does the list include ppl that view your account? Means her sister views my account?

Has nothing to do with that. Its just an algorithm. It means nothing really.

I think it just lists people that have the same friends as you, but it also might sort the list or show or hide people depending on how many mutual friends they have compared to non-mutual friends (for instance if her brother has hundreds of friends in total, that might make him less likely to be listed compared to someone who only has a few friends, because FB will maybe think his friends don't count as much).

Maybe your gf added her sister as a family member and 'cos your her bf your suppose to know her.
