How To Allow Non Friends To Message On Facebook If Under 18?

I can't see a message option on my profile if I log on with another account /: I am under 18.

you cant if you are under 18

and keep in mind that the message button isnt going to show when you view your own profile using the "view as" function

I think it all depends on the user you are trying to message. If they allow non-friends to message them, you should be able to. They probably set-up their privacy settings too high and optimize it with messaging too. Otherwise, there is no other way even if you are 18 y/old and up.

Go to your settings&privacy->privacy->who can send you facebook messages.change it to everyone.Then everyone can send you messages.
