How do I rejoin a private facebook group after leaving?

I was in a private facebook group and accidentally quit this morning. I had the "don't let others re-add me" option checked, as it was clicked by default. (I was trying to log out of my profile and accidentally left the group by mistake). The admin sent me a link to request to rejoin, but I can't see the group when I search for it. Shows up as "this page is unavailable."

Is there anything I can do to rejoin the group?

if the admin sent you a direct link to the group, you have to use that link to request to join it again, it will not appear in any search you do for it

if you use the link to open the page and it says that it doesnt exist, that means someone in the group banned you from the group, in which case there is no way to rejoin it
