I keep receiving FB messages from some of my long distance friends that says "Hey, I lost 17 pounds in 2 weeks by using these pills by Doctor Oz! Check out this link and try it!"....Are my friends sending me these or is it spam? Should I unfriend them?

It's spam. Tell your friend that his or her account may have been hacked or that there's another account with the same name that's using his or her friends list to send spam.
