Facebook Picture Problem need a little help?

Alright so this is the 1st time this has really ever happened to me. So I took a picture with my cell phone and uploaded it to Facebook that was maybe in the afternoon if that matters but I got all these likes and I haven't had a new Facebook picture in forever as a profile one so decided to change it just now. It told me to crop it so I did and finished it and now the 1st picture that got all the likes it gone but still shows up on my notifications from this afternoon but not on my own Feed?? so how do I go back to have both pictures on my feed is that even possible? Thanks I keep getting these updates from the one I uploaded but I can't see it on my own feed haha but again thanks for the help Facebook always add's new updates and stuff so again this hasn't happen to me in forever

It never got rid of my 1st picture though I am still getting updates that people are liking that one but yet I can't see it on my own timeline how are people still seeing it? so no way I could have both then correct?

just because you hide something from your timeline, that doesnt mean it wont still appear in your friends' news feeds
