Should i delete my facebook?

When i go on facebook seeing all the statuses makes me sick. its just people saying how bad there life is and wanting attention or people putting stuff to try and be cool. and dont get me started on all the like, commen, share and ignore statuses. good god. its like a big popularity contest.
should i and why or shouldnt i and why.
i only use it to talk to people and i hardly do that anymore. i have been sucked aswell tho. i dont wanna delete my facebook because i wanna be cool and have it.

if you dont want to see their posts, then just remove then from your news feed... you can still be their friend that way

Wel Mr Mgee, if you hate all of that, you hate Facebook and all what is in it. It clearly sounds like you realized that you just hate Facebook, you just stated that you hate complete description of what facebook is.

As an advise, do not delete the account for good, try that temp disable and if you ever think on get back in you just log back, just in the case "if" you feel like a facebook person again.
