How do I talk to a girl on facebook?

Hi, my question isn't as easy as it may sound. I'm not very popular at my school but I'm friends with someone who is. Anyway he really likes this girl and I sort of like her but I have no chance whereas my fried does, so I was wondering how I could talk to her to find out who she likes so I can tell my friend. But I can't really talk to her easily because in not popular. Any suggestions? Thanks

You gotta stop playing wing man, grow some balls, be a little more social, join some clubs, run for a position in school counsel. Stop using "I'm not popular" as an excuse.

Your best bet is to not just randomly start messaging her on facebook, just talk to her face to face but don't just go up to her and say "Hey, do you like my friend?", that might push her away from both of you. Just have general conversation with her about other things, then eventually add her on facebook. You can then go from there.

Don't feel under pressure just because your surrounded by popular kids, that popular stuff is so lame, Be yourself and relax a little, take note of the fact that she doesn't know you well because your not "popular" But if you keep a good reputation you will more than likely catch peoples eye. Don't be shy about your opinions and not to harsh about your opinions too. If you don't like something then let it be known (that is, If someone asks of you) Just say No, I don't like it. Stuff like that, Popularity won't last long, look at how many people used to be popular, where are they now?...old, probably looking for someone to talk to. So relax don't worry too much about that girl either, but if you want to know then just say what you want to know, but seriously, I wouldn't bother with her too much.
