Blocking someone on facebook!?

So if i have talked to someone on facebook before (private chat) then block them, are they still able to access and read our private messages? If i delete mine- will the other person only be able to see their messages or both theirs and mine??

Blocking means the other person whom you blocked cannot see you on facebook..! not even if he searches in facebook. He cannot see you in his friends list, nor in mutual friends list of your other friends. finally he is completely blocked from contacting you..Even you also cannot search him..
...............!
So there is absolutely no question of him able to see your private chat messages...! :-)
