Problem with Facebook. Please Help!!!?
Every time one of my friends updates their status, posts a photo, shares a link, etc. I get a notification. Its just one specific friend. How can I stop this from happening in the future?

Go to your account settings and turn off notifications.

You have either subscribed to their profile or listed them as a close friend. To unsubscribe, follow this guide https://www.facebook.com/bookmarks/lists and follow these directions:

- Click "Close Friends"
- Now you can see your friends' profile pic on your "Close Friends" list (around the top right corner)
- Click "See All"
- Hover over your friend's pic and click the cross to remove your friend from the list

You should check by:
1. Go on the News Feed page, then on the right hand side you will see this block called 'news feed'. Click on it.
2. Then a list will show up under the news feed block that lists: All friends, Most Recent, Following, Photos, and 'See all..." Click on the 'see all...'
3. The list will expand under the 'photos' block. At the really bottom of the list, there's an 'Edit' block. Click on the 'Edit'.
4. Another list will show up that says: Close friends, Acquaintances, Family, and some other personal blocks. Click on the 'close friends' block.
5. On the right hand side, There's this big block that says: On this list, and shows the profile pictures of the friends you marked as close friends.

If your friend that gives you notifications is on that list, click the 'Edit' button on the 'On this list' block (it's tiny in the right hand corner), then click the 'Add/Remove' button, and move your mouse on that friend's profile picture that should be shown on the page. There, you will see a tiny x and click on it.
Then, after you removed them as your close friend, you won't get any notifications.

If your friend that gives you notification is not on the list... I'm sorry. I dunno what to do then.

Hope this helped~
