Is Facebook declining? Will people even really use it within the next few years?

Recently i have been noticing Facebook seems to be becoming less popular/people aren't going on as much. Do you think it is possible that it might decline over the next few years to the point that no one will really use it.

It would be a shame as Facebook really is a great way to stay in touch with people.
On the other hand, a lot of people just use it as a superficial way to communicate with others/show off etc

If they basically are selling your personal data then there has to be a point where people just stop using it because of all the hassle it seems to lead to ...
