Can facebook track you down if you reset someones password?

I am curious if facebook would be able to track down someone who had reset another persons password. I am not talking about with some sort of program I mean just clicking 'forgot password' and then going through the steps.

of course they can - they can track your computer's MAC address when you do that - the public cannot get ahold of that information, but if the police want that information since that person would be committing a serious crime, then facebook will give it to them
