My Facebook account was hacked please tell me how?

Ok so my fecebook account was hacked yesterday and I remember that before it was hacked someone i don't really talk to asked me to help them with something. Of course, being the naive person that cant say no that I am, i decided to help. I had to help them put on an ad on Kijiji and they gave me information that I had to put for the ad. After that, they asked me to click on a link to confirm it and then they told me to send a link to the ad, and I followed their instructions. The next day, my account was hacked and the person was trying to make my facebook friends do the same thing as I did.

I would like to know if anyone can explain to me how my account could've possibly been hacked (my password was 31 characters long I'm not kidding) and if you've maybe heard of this sort of thing before. Thank you in advance!

simple - you either fell for a phishing page, or clicked on something that looked like a facebook page, and you werent smart enough to look at your address bar... it happens to lots of kids under 18
