missed call in facebook messages?

If you have a facebook message, and in the message is a greyed out sentence that says so-and-so missed a call from you, what does that mean?

I need to know kind of quickly
to be more abrupt, my bf is still talking to a girl he keeps flirting with, and he says his phone is broken so he cant call, but it says she has missed a call from him an hour ago?

It means that God is calling you, you better pick up... oh, too late... now she's angry

It means you tried video calling one of your friend from Facebook and but that friend dint pick up your call.
