If you can't see someones Personal info in facebook, how do you find out if it is them?

I mean, I have this friend on facebook (I think) who I haven't seen for years and I cannot see her personal information because only her friends can see it.

Should I email her, or is there something else I can do?

Do you have her added as a friend on facebook? If not then add her and you'll be able to see her information. She has probably made it private to people not in her friends list.

If you're already friends with her on facebook and still can't see it, either she's customised it so that only certain people can see it or she hasn't written anything about herself.

Mail her asking why her information is private, or mail her and ask what you'd like to know. There's no harm in that.
