How to stop appearing online on fb on my phone?

If you're using the Facebook app on the iPhone... Then go onto the app, slide the page to the left and all of your contacts will come up, go to the top corner where it looks like a screw or something like that, click on it and you'll see ''Turn off chat'' or ''Cancel''.

On the computer in the top right hand corner of the message box there is a gear, click on that and I should give you the option to turn off chat for... whoever you want to stop appearing online to! Hope this helps!
