If you have already confirmed that it is not your internet connection (obviously by posting the question) there are several websites that will query the server. Sometimes it may be something as simple as clearing your cache and browsing history. When Facebook has been down before it seems to only affect certain areas, as it has happened in Costa Rica and friends in other parts of the country or from there U.S.were still able to connect

I've been getting the down for maintenance and try back in a few minutes for over 14 hours. So yes, for some of us it's down. annoyed with FB right now.

Yes it is! I live in Michigan and can't log in since 8:30am. I sent several e-mails to facebook support but no reply yet. Not all my friends are having issue, I believe that some accounts got affected with FB maintenance.

It has been down all day for me, as of 655 am, MST. All day for 6/22/13.
