What is wrong with people on facebook?
Someone added me to a group on Facebook. In this group, women show off their bodies to get comments, and people talk about other people. There is a lot of hate. This morning, a guy posted a picture of a woman and her son, he stole her picture and used it so people could talk about her on Facebook. I commented and simply said, "he's cute", no big thing, I didn't see anything wrong with the picture.
The guy got mad and started calling me all types of hoes, he called me ugly all because I found nothing wrong with the photo. A girl started defending him, and I defended myself against them both, and then I said, "you know what, this isn't worth it" so I didn't respond to any more comments.
I logged off, and I logged back on later to leave the group, and to my horror I saw that this female who happens to be 28, went in my pictures, and posted one of my pictures in the group. A lot of people were talking about me. I didn't respond or comment to it, I just wrote the girl a private message and changed my privacy settings so she wouldn't get in my pictures, mind you, this girl is not my friend on facebook. It proves how crazy she is.
She responded with ghetto slang, not saying much, and she justified posting my picture to the group. I was being the mature one, and the adult, I'm 23 and she's 28, acting like that. I reported the group and I blocked her. Tell me, what is wrong with these facebook bullies and why do they find it so amusing to talk about other people? She was telling me that the group was a "roast" group, but it clearly says in the description that the group was not meant for roasting.

it's the internet - things like this happen all the time, not just on facebook

if you dont like it, then dont involve yourself with it

You did great by reporting the group! I would go to the group page and block all members or if you want, block the members involved in the dispute. Most Facebook "Bullies" tend to target people younger than themselves. I would personally block them. I really hope this helps and solves your problem!

Curious. And this is what passess as leasure nowadays. Ritual abuse and humiliation. Its no wonder people are posting questions on here "how to delete my FB Profile" Can't say I blame them if this is to go by.

If you want to meet friendlier people go for fansites and groups. I joined Star Trek Group geeky I know but the worst retort i ever got on that was "live long and Prosper" for which I replied " Since my customary farewell would appear oddly self-serving, I shall simply say... good luck"

As Spoken in the JJ Abrams Movie and one of the final Scenes featuring Spock ..You need to get some nicer Facebook Friends.
