computer hangs whenever i write facebook.com in url box?

this problem is with all browser whether it is mozilla chrome or ie... i have windows vista and avg internet security 2013... but after some time it comes back to normal...please help i am facing a lot of problem.......

go to your internet security option & update it. I hope you will solved your problem.

Go to browser settings
Disable all the add-ons and plugins
then try to open facebook
If the problem still exits, close unwanted tabs,
go to task manager (ctrl + alt + del) and stop unwanted processes
