About Facebook Comments? 10 points!?
Okay then.....

So basically, there's this (kinda unpopular) ginger girl in my class. Let's call her Claire, lol, because otherwise this will sound really complex. I won't go into the details, but this girl (let's say Erica) told a ginger joke to a close friend, and Claire was laughing about it in class but later she told her mum about it. saying were all being horrible + bullying her (this didn't offend me btw so I don't need any sympathy lol)

But about the facebook thing. Later, Claire's mum contacted Erica by text through Claire's phone, then via facebook. She was swearing, being really rude and threatening to this 13 yr old kid. When another member of the class came to defend Erica, he was called a 'stupid little boy who didn't know anything.'

So we went to our head of year about the whole thing, but he said he needed evidence of the posts. That was okay with us, but it turned out word had got to Claire's mum that the school was onto the issue so all the comments had been deleted by her.

So the question!! Is there ANY WAY to get back those comments? Can Facebook be contacted or something? But we need evidence because I'm not sure it's even LEGAL for an adult to contact a vulnerable child alone, without any adults with them, in that manner.

Thanks Smile

I don't mean to burst your bubble but I don't think there is any way to retrieve the comment back. If this was a personal message, you could but because it is a comment, there is no way to get it back.

Facebook always make a copy of all your activities in facebook (for security purpose) so contact facebook and convince them to give you a copy of log activities of that account.

the chat conversation of facebook can't be deleted so you will find them in the archive tab in the chat page, but there are some add-ins and tools can be used to remove chat activities only few people know about them, but although you can't remove anything from facebook company database, they make a copy for everything (yeah facebook is a good tool for CIA and similar agencies).
