What is the Facebook "Restricted List" do exactly?
In "Privacy Settings" in the "Blocking" tab the first option you find the "Restricted List". I want to know if you add facebook friends in that list, will they be able to comment or like your posts? I understood that they will remain friends with you but in a restricted manner. I want to know what this restricted manner means. What enters in this restriction?
I was looking for a way to block a certain fb friend from commenting on my posts or my statuses... and when i was looking for an option, i found this "restricted list". Is this list for something like this? Does it help from preventing a friend commenting on you posts and statuses? If it doesnt help... do you know a way of blocking, or disableing the option of commenting at your posts for certain facebook friends without unfriending them?! Ads |

A restricted person can't do anything with your id. He can only view your public updates

there is no way to prevent someone from commenting on a post of yours that they can see
the restricted list just prevents them from seeing your like and comment activity, and prevents them from seeing any status updates that arent set to public |
