if i mark an inbox on facebook as unread does it still stay "seen"?

So if the other person isn't online but i open the message then mark it as unread, can the person still see that i have read it? does it still say "seen at (then the time)" ?

I don't even think that weather you have read an inbox message or not will be published on your timeline

What will be on your timeline are your photos, unless you set them to "only me" , your comments under your friends photos, your other statements on timeline

So don't worry, unless your friend is a hacker , and hacked into your account , he or she will not know wether you have read the inbox message or not

Even if you deleted that message on your Facebook, they will not know

But they will know when the last time you're logged in to Facebook, it will be stated on top of the inbox messages....."user was active 1d ago, 5h ago, 1h ago, 30m ago....." Hence your friend might wonder, he can you be on fb but not seeing his or her message
