Set everything on your account to friends only. No-one will be able to see you and ad you as a friend but she won't find you either.

Either make your account private or block her, she will never know, its like you don't even have an account.

Log out when you're done and clear it from the browser history. Also change your email address and password. She won't find out...

How about you respect your mother's wishes and delete it?

How about you respect the woman who has paid for everything that you have, gives you food everyday and drives you around when she could be getting some much needed sleep. Your Mom requests this one thing and you want to disobey her? What if she lied to you about things she was going to do like giving you money or paying the bills? Doesn't sound good when you are on the other side does it? One simple request? I think you should not only keep it deactivated but also delete the email associated with your FB so you won't be tempted to reactivate it.

I would just listen to her but I know that's not the answer you want so just block her and be really sure to exit out of the page and clear history this time. Or put a lock on your phone/computer and possibly change your name to a fake one so she doesn't know it's you
