How do I stop Facebook sending me messages?

Every time I go on my email, I have about 100 new mail all from Facebook. Useless stuff like 'This person has messaged you' or something like that and I can't read important emails. How do I stop it?

Go to the bottom of the email, and it should say unsubscribe

the easy way is to just set up an inbox rule in your email account

you can set up a rule so that anytime you get an email from the exact email address is just gets deleted, or you can set up a rule that automatically moves any email from a specific address to a specified folder, so you can still check them if you want to

Just ignore it or put all those in junk. You can try searching the sender of important messages to check out unread messages.

Basically, you have to disconnect Facebook from your email account. It won't delete it or anything,
it just disconnects so you don't get emails from it.

1. Go to Facebook.
2.Click on the little cog thing in the top right hand corner, near where it says Home.
3. Click Account Settings.
4. In the left hand column underneath the Facebook logo, click Notifications. (above Mobile)
5. Click on Email.
6. Change it from "All notifications" to something else.
7. Now you won't get any more emails!

Go to your Account Settings Than Click On Notifcations than Uncheck Anything you Dont Want to Be Emailed About
