finding friends on facebook?

im looking for someone on facebook but cant remember their last name,i have their email how do do you find someone on fb using the email.thanks

you just type their email into the facebook searchbox at the top

if nothing is found, that means they use a different email for facebook, or they have their settings set up so that only people on their friends list can find them using their email

in other words, if nothing comes up in search, there is nothing else you can do, other than just writing them an email using your email, which has nothing to do with facebook

you know how to send an email to someone, right? you dont need facebook for that

just email them and ask for their facebook vanity URL... like http://www.facebook.com/john_smith

then you wont need to use their email or last name, you can go directly to their profile, assuming it hasnt been deactivated, or suspended

or you can just talk to them via email and avoid facebook altogether
